Just a little post to show you how psychics often get into trouble with interpretation.
This morning as I am just waking, I get a message in my mind, not audible, of someone saying "Judith, Come Home." And the word "rich." That's all. I could go into trance and find more, but I don't know anyone named Judith.
Now since I started thinking about this blog, that's been happening more often. Perhaps those on the other side think that through this blog I can get a message to their Judith. I don't know. But I will post those message here on this blog in case the message rings true for a reader.
So, here's how a psychic can get into trouble and be declared a faker:
All I have are the word "rich" and "Judith come home." It could mean that Rich wants Judith to come home. Or it could mean that Judith is from a rich family who wants her to come home. Or it could mean that Judith is very ill or elderly and someone on the other side wants her to come home to him/her. Or maybe, Judith has suddenly fallen into an unexpected wealth, and someone on the other side wants to find her and tell her to come home and claim it. Or even that someone on the other side wants Judith to come home to heaven and see how rich life is there.
Some psychics would pounce on one of those interpretations and announce it as the correct translation. And that's what being a psychic is, translating messages from the spirit world into the language of the living. And when the interpretation is incorrect, the public calls the psychic a fraud.
Now, can I get more info? Yes, I can, especially if I have a person here who will claim that message. That will bring more energy into the equation, and with the person's energy, mine and the spirit's, there is a good chance we can draw out more info.
But the interpretation is still difficult. The added energy will give me more words and though pictures, and sometimes even a face to put with them, or a vivid scene in full color. But only through interacting with the person here can a valid message be constructed.
The three of us together can pull in lots more info to present. I will get a feeling about an interpretation, that it's the correct one, or wrong one, but that's not 100% trustworthy. So please be kind. I'm doing my best. I present what I have been given, and then if there is a connection, the spirit will give me more information. But still, unless it is confirmed by the "living" person here, I'm not 100% sure of the resulting interpretation.
Please don't flame me if my interpretation is off.
I heard on the radio yesterday about a man singing the Croatian national anthem at a game. He was not a Croat speaker, and used the word "penis" instead of the word for "mountain." TI really wasn't the singer's fault, as he is not a native speak. He was doing the best he could.
Similarly, I am not a native speaker of the other side. I'm doing the best I can.
Tomorrow, I'll talk about electronic transcommunication, which gives us much clearer messages. But in the meantime, click on the audio file at the top of the left column here. This is a message I got when I first started using EVPMaker, a software that generates little bits of cut up speech (phonemes-the smallest part of spoken language) that those on the spirit world are able to reconstruct into words and phrases.
Remember, there were those who thought that the telephone was an evil thing. That there was no way for two people to be able to talk to each other from different cities. And sixty years ago if someone had claimed that he had a machine that would allow people to type messages to anyone in the world and get an answer back immediately, or have a conversation instantly with someone far away, people would have not believed it possible.
We're at that stage now. It's hard for folks to believe that we can actually communication using the computer, to talk to the "dead."
Welcome
I'ts been since Christmas 2007 that I last posted. Life got in the way. It's November of 2010 and I'm being led to reactivate this blog. I've also repurposed it. Nearly every evening or AM and sometimes in the middle of the day someone from "the other side" comes to me with a message. Sometimes I know who the message is for but other times I haven't a clue.
I don't often see the individual, but they describe themselves to me. They tell me about themselves so that you will know the message is for you, but sometimes I don't know who YOU are. They think I can go out and find you and deliver the message, but I'm raising a large family and I don't have time for psychic detective work.
So as of today I'm going to just post messages that I get here and let you look for yourself.
If the message is meant for you, comment and I'll try to get more info. Frequently these spirits come to me after someone on this side has asked them to. I do not want to know that you have asked Uncle Bob to visit me and leave a message. I don't want to know Uncle Bob's name or description.
What I do want to do is to come here and leave a message that is meant for someone who may or may not be a reader of this blog. The rest is up to you.
When I do a reading for a person, their loved ones on the other side gather around me and usually more than one person wants to talk. This requires a degree of trance state, and that is tiring. I rarely do readings in person for this reason.
Let's see how this goes.

Me, The Receiver
My gifts are two-fold, with some minor abilities I won't mention here.
The folks on the other side often talk to me in short audible phrases every morning just as I wake up. I guess because my mind is yet still.
This AM I distinctively heard a female voice say "I'm listening." and then a young male voice saying, "StarSaver." That's weird, because it sounds like a computer username and mean nothing to me. Maybe it IS someone's username.
This audible kind of whisper in my left ear is not at all reliable or meaningful, as it is such a short message. I can hear the words and determine if the voice is male or female, but I can't get the INTENTION of the message, or a thought picture of who is saying the words. If I try to figure out what the spoken words mean, I'd be wrong most often.
I hear two kinds of audio input. The most common is just thought patterns. The other is actual voices. I love the actual voices, as they are so clear cut. No questioning what they mean (Except for StarSaver, which I think was just someone's name.) Never more than a couple words at a time, as it is so difficult for them to do that. And with so few words, you don't get a lot of info.
With the thought patterns I have to take symbols and try to convert them into words. That's sometimes rather difficult. For instance, I might see an image of someone with red hair, and think, Oh this person has sandy reddish hair...when in fact the spirit is trying to tell me the name Sandy.
And even then, I might misinterpret that, as I might think the spirit's name is Sandy, but the spirit is actually telling me the name of his mother. I like the audibles. Unfortunately, they aren't as common, and the spirit doesn't hang around, like most of the spirits with the non audible communications. But I get much more info from the thought-pattern messages.
The audibles are coming more frequently, though, so I hope that will keep developing into longer phrases.

Visits From The Dead
Hello. My name is not really Raven Royer. The last name I pulled from my grandmother's maiden name. and, well, Raven sounded good with it, maybe even a little bit mysterious.
I am not a storefront-type psychic. I am a very private person, and although I've been psychic my whole life, I have no intention of getting famous from it. I help people when I can, but only if I am asked, either by a living person, or someone who has graduated from this life.
I've done quite a bit of electronic communication (transcommunication) with the "other side." It's a field that fascinates me. People are just people, whether here on earth or in the place we call "heaven." There is nothing spooky about talking to the dead, or seeing them as they wish to be seen.
I imagine that people in the 1700s would have thought it spooky to be able to pick up a funny shaped piece of plastic and hear another person's voice. Nowadays it is standard procedure. That's what is happening with communications with those we consider "dead."
The word "dead" implies an end. I can assure you that that is not the case. Your "dead" relatives and friends want to talk with you. You just have to know how to do it.
